FROM LOST TO THE DESERT is a documentary about an expedition to one of the most remote places in the world, the desert of Morocco and Western Sahara. A project by Chechu Pajares and Nicolas Pina, produced by them and Aljaz Babnik, and featuring the "dream team": Vicente Romero, Valcof, Jose Alcántara, and Pablo Bordas.

Here, in their own words, is how they experienced this exciting adventure through the middle of nowhere, searching for something they weren't even sure existed, but friendship, perseverance, and good vibes made everything shine on its own:
“Lost, completely lost, when we started talking a few months ago about a surf trip on motorcycles. That’s how “From Lost to the Desert” was born. Seven idiots who barely knew each other decided to jump on a Skype call to give shape to what was simply an idea.
Several months of preparation, many hours on the road, ferries, two bikes provided by Yamaha, and a few waves waiting for us to spend the most surreal New Year’s of our lives… Our goal? To have a damn good time while searching for that surfing ideal which is almost an illusion these days. Surfing alone.
After the whole team met up in Marrakech, we headed to the non-existent border between Morocco and Western Sahara. That’s where the expedition really began. Going in completely blind, we faced a huge risk of not finding any waves. Fortunately, the stars aligned and we found the sessions we had dreamed of.
Between laughter and arguments, spins and wipeouts, wheelies and crashes, and above all, a lot of love. We managed to return home with very good vibes.”
The film has been selected for screening at the Madrid Surf Film Festival, Portugal Surf Film Festival, Berlin Surf Film Festival, Cine Mar Surf Film Tour, and many others.
