FROM LOST TO THE DESERT is a documentary about an expedition to one of the most remote places in the world, the Moroccan desert and Western Sahara. A project by Chechu Pajares and Nicolas Pina, produced by them and Aljaz Babnik with the participation of the “Dream team” Vicente Romero, Valcof, Jose Alcántara and Pablo Bordas.

Here's how they experienced this exciting journey through the middle of nowhere, searching for something they weren't even sure existed, but friendship, perseverance, and good vibes made everything shine on its own:
“Lost, completely lost, when we started talking a few months ago about a surf expedition by motorbike. That's how “From Lost to the Desert” was born. Seven idiots who barely knew each other decided to call each other on Skype to give shape to what was simply an idea.
Several months of preparation, many hours on the road, ferries, two motorbikes provided by Yamaha, and a few waves waiting for us to spend the most surreal New Year's Eve of our lives... Our goal? To have a fantastic time while searching for that ideal of surfing, which is almost an illusion these days. Surfing alone.
After gathering the whole team in Marrakech, we headed to the non-existent border between Morocco and Western Sahara, where the expedition truly began. Going in completely blind, we faced a brutal risk of not finding waves. Fortunately, the stars aligned, and we found the sessions we had dreamed of.
Amidst laughter and arguments, turns and spills, wheelies and falls, and above all, a lot of love. We managed to return home with very good vibes.”
