On February 24, the first championship was held at our Mondaka Skatepark headquarters. It was a cold but very sunny day, so we were able to enjoy the surroundings of this warehouse.
Gradually, and without having to get up too early, the old and not-so-old glories of the Galician ramp scene arrived. We also had a special visit from people from Ponferrada, among whom Bruno López took first prize and also the prize for the sickest trick, awarded with a MACHETE board.
Surprising was the visit and second-place winner, Alexander Golovanof, a Russian who has been living in A Coruña for a few months, with a skateboarding style never before seen by these eyes. A Soviet athlete in every sense of the word!!!
The afternoon concluded with concerts by Weed Bug, Unojo, and El Puto Coke.
