Dusty Track Great Again is back; once more, it didn't let us down. This time it was held in the town of Rebordosa, a village near Porto, Portugal.
Everything started with dance music and ended with Metallica ballads played by a band from Operación Triunfo. It’s hard to beat the Dusty Track for both fun and originality, where posing shines by its absence; this is Gas + chicken + dust + Super Bock. Thanks to the fire department, it didn't end with just dust.
An edition of Dusty Track packed with nearly 90 registered bikes—a total madness. Mid-morning, Black Road Culture organized the Moto Limbo, which involved riding your bike—theoretically drifting—underneath the bar, which was lowered as the competition went on. And I say theoretically because the winner of this event was a local with his 50cc bike, for which he even lowered the handlebars and only needed to cut the bars to pass without touching (there is an illustrative photo below).
In the afternoon, the conventional oval races took place, divided by category and displacement, where the "machete gang" reached the podium in almost every category. A cheer for the gang! A sexagenarian approached our tent and asked to take a photo with our "Team." It was explained clearly to him that we are not a "Team," we are a gang, at which point he reached for his wallet.
