Mad Max, there's no doubt it marked a before and after in the era of Post-Apocalyptic aesthetics. Dressed in feathers and other animal remains, mixed with chains and tools from the first industrial revolution. All of this combined with violence, speed, and an occasional unveiling, was the perfect cocktail for any pre-teenager of our time. And not to mention the two red diamonds that appeared at the beginning of the feature film, defining it as a movie not suitable for minors, this made it even more interesting!!!.
Much has already been written about the first installment of the saga, the most authentic, although the others also have their appeal. Since it was practically made with a budget comparable to making a short film for today's school. Not to mention that many of the secondary actors and pilots in the film were members of an Australian biker gang.
So fun and chance created a masterpiece, not without a few headaches and setbacks at the hands of George Miller.
But we are not here to give more shine to this movie (which it deserves, mind you!!) but to see the preparations for the new installment, the remake Mad Max, The Fury Road. Gone are Jim Goose's Kawasaki KZ 1000 and the Z900, along with the Honda CB 750 and 900 of the era. In this new installment, we will see luxurious props for both classic and current motorcycles, ranging from a Honda Goldwing to a Gas Gas trial bike, and a BMW R low ride.
Kilometric swingarms, tanned leather, and a lot of rust make this new installment of Mad Max a gem as far as artistic direction is concerned.
