Maroña Indoor, Galicia's first indoor bowl, opened last Saturday thanks to Ivan Maroño (Maroña Skateboards). Now we can enjoy curves and speed in northwestern Galicia.
Ivan personally built it with the help of some "riders" from his "team". The finish of the ramp is very close to perfection, with a perfectly designed transition, a luxurious coping... A real candy of a ramp!!!!
The inauguration was attended by people from almost all over Galicia and even Asturias, with the presence of one of the builders of the Asturian AK-55 bowl.
The doors opened a little before 4 p.m., which was the perfect time for a session with some calm... he he he... Little by little, this "Noah's Ark" (as Pupas says... ha ha ha) filled up with a lot of sweat and excitement!!!!!!
A couple of "PURE" boards were raffled off for the best runs of the day.
Thanks to Ivan for the beers and food. This man should be canonized, not only does he make us an awesome bowl!!!! He also gives us drinks and food... he he he
The indoor facility is open Monday to Friday from 4:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 3:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. The entrance fee is €5 daily or €30 per month for members to enjoy as many sessions as they want.
Skateboarding lessons will also be offered for €45 per month (healthy snack included). Classes will be held on Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
