The BMW caferacer subframes that we have for sale here are handcrafted from 30 mm diameter iron tubing with a 3 mm wall thickness, which makes them perfectly capable of supporting the weight of one or two people on the BMW caferacer subframe.
It is anchored to the original chassis with four 8 mm bolts and their corresponding MB nuts.
It has a small plate with two holes in the rear to be able to anchor the mudguard.
The BMW caferacer subframe comes with a 1.5 mm thick stainless steel base plate weighing approximately 700g, which is attached to the chassis with four 6 mm bolts.
With this base plate, you will be able to make your own seat, or if you prefer, we also have an artisan who crafts them using top-class materials with perfect finishes. They are custom-made seats, meaning you can choose the type of leather, the seat height, or the stitched pattern on the top.
We offer two sizes for the BMW caferacer subframe, one measuring 54 cm and another 59 cm; both adapt perfectly to all BMW R models with dual shock absorbers. The BMW caferacer subframe anchors exactly to the same bolts as the original subframe, so you can convert your stock motorcycle into a BMW caferacer and return it to its original state whenever you want.
It is delivered unpainted by default; we advise painting it as similarly as possible to the original chassis so that there will barely be a tonal difference.
The BMW caferacer subframe is not compatible with R models featuring a mono-shock absorber with a seat plate.
It is the easiest way to "cafe-racer" your BMW without causing issues with homologations or the ITV (Spanish technical vehicle inspection). By removing just four bolts and the respective light wiring, you will have your original motorcycle back in just 15 minutes.
