The first edition of The Timers took place in the city of Gaia (Porto). It is a festival of classics, both motorcycles and cars, steeped in a Gentleman's Ride atmosphere. Organized by the folks at Ton-up Garage. The exhibition area was located at the base of a military barracks at the top of the mountain in Gaia, where cars, motorcycles, and food trucks were on display, in addition to concerts and motor art exhibition halls featuring photographs by Ana Pina and some of Ton-up's creations alongside other pedigree classics. A multi-hour route along the Douro River started from here. Thanks to the Ferreira brothers and Filipe Silva, we were able to complete the route without any mishaps or getting lost, and in addition to their pleasant company, they delighted us with their “bullet” positions on their Two-Strokes!!! We would like to thank them here for all their logistical support. Thanks to them, we were able to find the best place to refuel our stomachs in the entire region: the SAPO eatery, a place where they were lovers of small-displacement two-strokes and unrestrained food. The menu consisted of over 5 dishes + 3 types of dessert. Everything was washed down with Portuguese wine and spirits that could have been used as fuel. The SACHS displayed in the middle of the dining room was very significant. The next day, the people from Dusty Track organized an invitational dirt track event in another military zone just a few meters from the exhibition. A perfect oval made specifically for the The Timers event. It was perfectly built, and the rain from the night before took it upon itself to increase the difficulty with an Amazonian-sized puddle in one of the areas. This significantly increased the fun and body humidity. We thank the people at Dusty Track for including us in this edition and for their warm hospitality!!!!
