The V Rockers Day was held this past Saturday, May 16, 2015, in the city of Vigo. Leather, beer & meat was once again an unbeatable combination for enjoying a good motorcycle Saturday.
V Rockers Day began at 10 AM on May 16 at O Castro cafe (next to the olive tree), starting a little later on the way to Bayonne, taking the coastal road towards La Guardia. After passing the municipality of Santa María de Oia, we took the Torroña road which linked to O Rosal, the first stop for various needs. It is worth noting at this first stop the great welcome from the locals with a kind of procession carrying a Furbi-sized image among four people, accompanied by the local band (bass drum, snare drum, bagpipes, etc.).
After a near-skid and dodging a couple of cows (they fled in terror as they knew their tragic end), we arrived at the Robledo steakhouse, located on Mount Aloia in Tui, a carnivore's paradise, with a grilling area that looked more like a crematorium than a grill. This was understandable after seeing the size of the steaks served there.
Later we set off for Mount Alba (well, not exactly Alba, it's its twin, but right now I don't know its name) and finally ended up at La Urbana Bike, to continue talking about motorcycles, washed down with beer.
Thanks to Cobras Café Racer for the excellent organization (even with a support vehicle) and for selling their soul to the devil so that the sun shines every year and it never rains on this important event.
