Wheels and Waves 2014

Last weekend, the third edition of Wheels and Waves 2014 took place in Biarritz.

A beautiful bourgeois town on the French coast, which that weekend was tormented by the chaotic concentration of engines of all kinds, most with scant mufflers on their exhausts. The town was happy, ironically speaking of course.

Thursday began with the festival's presentation in a kind of old factory, where many of the motorcycles created to date were exhibited, as well as graphic and photographic work by different artists. We also can't forget Luc Rolland's surf extravagances, also on display.

The next day, a one-on-one race was organized in the mountains of Hondarribia. It was a pleasure to see those "coffees" pushed "to the limit"..... some even with nitrous oxide tanks, a real rocket, not only for its speed, but for its shape.

On Saturday, a 250km route was taken through the Pyrenean mountains, with truly unforgettable landscapes and curves. Upon arrival in Biarritz, at the "lighthouse," the "meeting point," awards were given to the 4 best modified motorcycles, and a farewell and thanks from the organizers, the "Southsiders." Ending with a R'N'R concert by Brian Bent.

People from all over Europe gathered there for those four days, some very authentic, others less so, but generally a very good vibe, except for some sons of bitches who always have to be everywhere.

Wheels and Waves is a highly recommended festival !!!!!
